Evaluating the optimization effect of a DC brushless motor assembly line hinges on establishing a quantitative indicator system covering three core dimensions: synergy, flexibility, and precision. Data comparison is then used to verify the actual effectiveness of bottleneck breakthroughs. The following is the specific evaluation framework and methodology:

1. Synergy Evaluation: Measuring the overall production line efficiency. Poor synergy leads to process waiting times, cycle time imbalances, and low OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

Key Indicators:

OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) = Availability × Performance × Quality; Target to improve to over 85%

Cycle Time: Time to complete production on a single motor; optimization should reduce this by 10%~30%, e.g., from 60 seconds to 45 seconds.

Process Waiting Time Percentage: Through time analysis, assess whether upstream and downstream waiting times have decreased by more than 50%.

Signal Transmission Response Speed: PLC command response delay from one station to the next ≤0.5 seconds.

Example: If the winding station completes and automatically triggers the balancing correction station to start, and there is no backlog, it indicates good coordination.

2. Flexibility Assessment: Measures the ability to quickly switch between multiple models. Insufficient flexibility limits the ability to handle small-batch orders; long changeover times are a typical pain point.

Key Indicators:

Changeover Time: Downtime for switching from production model A to model B, aiming to reduce from 2 hours to within 30 minutes.

Number of Compatible Models: Support for a wide range of motor specifications, including outer diameter (Φ50–150mm) and stack thickness (20–80mm), on the same production line.

Ease of Program Switching: One-click access to different process parameters (such as pressing pressure and winding turns) via HMI, eliminating the need for manual resetting.

Production lines supporting modular quick-change fixtures and standardized interfaces significantly improve flexibility.
